Virtual Recital

Premieres on YouTube on April 4, 2026

Video submissions are being accepted now through March 28, 2026.

This opportunity is great for students to practice performing before doing so in front of a live audience!

Below are step-by-step instructions on how to submit videos:

1. Discuss with your instructor which piece(s) is performance-ready before recording.

2. Recordings can be done in class, at home, or in the Music Box hall (depending on availability). Smartphone quality is sufficient; please turn your phone horizontally for landscape recording.

3. Students should dress up as they would for in-person recitals (semi-formal to formal, think "Sunday church" to "concert attire")

4. Have your instructor approve your final video.

5. Send your video file to this email address (staff@redondobeachmusicbox.com) once it has been approved.  If the file is too large to send by email, please use Google Drive, DropBox, or other safe file-sharing apps.

The videos will be uploaded to the Music Box Youtube channel as unlisted videos, which means that only people who are given the link will be able to access the video. We will be sharing the videos with the Music Box community via email with access to an unlisted webpage.
